The Year in Review page was the best page of any entered for bringing everything together in a clean and newsworthy package. The art selection and handling for the package is great, and the Planning rail is handled well. On the other hand, the use of the background fireworks photo on July 3 was not effective — too much competition with the staff shot in that package. Similarly, the soccer photo in the flag is outstanding because of the composition of the photo. The football photo on the flag was just busy.
