There is much to admire here, and much for other smaller news staff to learn from when faced with an unexpected developing local news story -- thorough coverage of the fire, additional content on reaction and building history, strong action photos at the scene, interesting sidebars, and an all-page presentation that has strong visual impact. Back at the newsroom, it is apparent there was smart assigning and staff coordination as well as excellent editing. "Big time" in every way.
