RyanCorey: A broad, sweeping look at the roots of fighting gang crime, well-written and researched. This made me want to read the next piece, rare for a long story.
2: Another good story, with a good lead, but read long. the information on McClelland and the school interaction could have been broken in to a short sidebar, because schools are prime recruiting grounds. But ...
3: Another good story, and a great lead — although I wondered as I got to the end if the information on how the street-level gangs interact with the cartels isn't the scariest, and therefore most important, part of the story.
4: ... we got that in this story. A good way to lead out of the package. Again, well written.
