JoAnn seems to choose much more ambitious and proactive stories than most of her peers at this circulation class. Rather than passively covering issues that officials placed on the public agenda, she brought to light issues that others perhaps weren't addressing. It's a pleasant surprise to see such enterprise work at a small paper. Keep working on those reporting skills and never quit listening to the reader. Good job.
