Judges Comments:
Obama art on signature page is ... weird. I like the effort to do something unique and powerful, but this approach is a bit of a stretch for me. The next day cover, however, is classy and extremely effective. On other pages, the splashy use of colors can be eye-grabbing but also distracting. I question the tastefulness of running a light (and large) Oscar story in contrast to the relatively downplayed riot and tragedy at the top of the page. Overall, pages reflect the work of a talented designer.
