Lewis' spot news coverage gave him the edge for second place in this contest. He captured an incredibly emotional scene from the suicide/murder incident. Lewis appears to have the desire and talent to capture dramatic spot news scenes for his newspaper. Judges wished the cycling page would have been better edited to eliminate similar images and incorporate some other features from the event.
